These are my sketches in stages that I used for my second graphic narrative. I saw a similar image to this on tumblr and I felt it would fit in perfectly with my chosen song and lyrics.

Graphic narrative - Design 2

This is my second design for my narrative. It is still based on the song Drunk by Ed Sheeran. For this piece i rough sketched a photo that I found on Tumblr that I thought would be good to use. I then uploaded it to Photoshop and sharpened and darkened all of the lines to make the sketch stand out a bit more. I then went over the sketch with the paint tool to make it more bold and added some more colour. I also used the 'Freeform pen tool' to add more detail to my sketch and create more definition on some of his features. To create the blue water (from his tears) I simply just used the pencil tool in a thin pen setting. I then added a lighter shade of blue to create ripples of mini waves and define the river. To create the tear drops again I just used the pencil tool in blue and sketched an outline, and then went on to fill it in. I then went over the tear drops outline in black and purple to make it stand out and match the rest of the sketch. For the text I downloaded a font from 'dafont'. I wanted a font that looked a little rough and handwritten as I feel it suits the subject.
